'There's Plenty More to Come From Me!' - West Brom Star Issues Warning to Premier League Defences

West Brom winger Matt Phillips has issued a warning to Premier League defences after an upturn in form that had deserted him in the earlier stages of his Baggies career.
"?

Phillips has turned things around of late for Albion, after getting off to a sluggish start for the Midlands club - he has bagged goals against champions Leicester, Burnley, Watford and Swansea, as well as providing numerous assists for his teammates.

The 25-year-old's performances have seen his confidence soar, and have earned him a regular starting spot in Tony Pulis' side.
"?

Phillips, who signed from Championship outfit QPR last summer, is currently thriving in England's top flight, and thanked his boss for instilling the confidence he now seems to have in abundance.
"?

As reported by the "?Birmingham Mail, he said: "I'm loving it. I feel like I've settled a bit, there's still a lot more to come, but I'm really enjoying my football.

"Obviously when you sign at a new club you want to hit the ground running. It took me a little while but I'm starting to show what I'm about. The manager has been great with me. Gerry Francis and Ben Garner have also helped.
"?

"I can't speak highly enough of the coaching staff, and the boys as well. They're a great set of lads."
"?

The Scot also revealed how he is being helped on the training ground, adding: "They've just spent a little bit of time with me talking about my game and what I need to be working on. They've put on some extra sessions too. Just all-round helping me."

Phillips and his teammates travel to the south coast on New Year's Eve to face Southampton and a positive result could see them leapfrog their opponents in the table. Pulis' men have suffered back-to-back defeats in the league and will eye a wounded Saints side as potential for points after they were battered 4-1 by Tottenham on Wednesday."?
