“There was a lack of regard.“ Lorient president calls out Nice on Moffi’s transfer

Lorient president Loïc Féry claimed that OGC Nice were disrespectful in their quest to land Terem Moffi. Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Moffi on the January transfer deadline switched to Nice on loan until the end of the season with an obligation-to-buy for €30 million.

Before his move to Nice, Féry revealed that Lorient have accepted two offers for the Nigeria international, one from Marseille, the other from Premier League sixteenth-placed outfit West Ham.

The Lorient president took a slight dig at Les Aiglons by criticising their methods and their stubbornness.

“I think they have to operate differently because, if they are as ambitious as they say, they can’t destabilise all the clubs. There was a lack of regard.“ Féry told L’Equipe via Getfootballnewsfrance.

The 23-year-old striker scored 12 goals in 18 league appearances for Lorient before switching to Nice.
