Super Falcons Top FIFA Ranking In Africa

Nigeria’s women national team were unmoved in the latest Fifa rankings for women released by Fifa on Friday. They stayed in 37th position with 1602 points.

The Super Falcons also retained their position as the best African side.

Florence Omagbemi’s side failed to improve on the rankings despite qualifying for the 2016 African Women Cup of Nations, beating Senegal 3-1 on aggregate.

Ghana overtook Cameroon as second best team in Africa moving up two places to 46th in the world with the Indomitable Lionesses dropping one place to third in Africa and 47th in the world.
