Getafe coach Fran Escriba did not pick Ghana midfielder Bernard Mensah for their trip to Espanyol on Saturday which was enveloped with a 1-0 defeat.

Escriba explained his decision to leave the 20-year-old at home was due to technical reasons.
Mensah is on loan from giants Atletico Madrid who have farmed him out for more playing opportunities.
