Nigeria’s U-23 Head Coach, Samson Siasia has lamented the inability to keep the invited NPFL players in camp and the disruption to his preparation for the Rio 2016 Olympic Men’s Football Tournament.

In June the Dream Team VI are due to play in a four-nation invitational tournament in South Korea but the shoddy preparation caused by the ongoing NPFL season and clubs refusal to release their best legs coupled with the unavailability of the foreign based means Samson Siasia is in a fix as he expressed.

A subdued Siasia described how burdensome his back and forth negotiations with the club owners have been overtime. The coach claims on occasions he had less than 10 players to build a team good enough to represent the country in Brazil.

The team will leave for the far east May 30th, the coach told footballlive.ng.
