Senegal Outclass Sand Eagles In AFCON Beach Soccer

Boubacar Fall was the star man as Senegal extended their dominance of African Beach Soccer, when they defeated hosts Nigeria 8-4 in a thrilling final of the 2016 CAF Beach Soccer Cup of Nations at the packed Eko Atlantic City, Lagos, on Sunday.It was Senegal’s fourth title, a record feat.

Sand Eagles player, Emeka Ogbonna was voted the Most Valuable Player. In other individual awards that were given out, Senegal’s star man, Babacar Fall won the highest goals scorer award with 11 goals. The best goalkeeper award went to Senegal’s Al Seyni Ndiaye.
