Sébastien Haller may play a part against Super Eagles clash

Cote D'Ivoire's star player, Sebastien Haller may likely play a part in the second group A game between the host nation and Nigeria on Thursday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Haller was absent in the first game of the Elephants where they defeated Guinea Bissau 2-0 due to injury which he had prior to the tournament.

Cote D'Ivoire Coach, Jean Louis Gasset stated that the Borussia Dortmund man is recovering well and may be in action against the Eagles.

“Haller is recovering well, as well as he should, in his situation.

“We shall assess his progress and make a judgement, on match fitness, at the appropriate time.”

The match between the two West African giants come up on Thursday at the Alassane Quattara Stadium, Abidjan at 6pm.
