Reports: Top premier league team Willing To Match Gent’s Asking Price For Super Eagles Star Moses Simon

Published on: 17 July 2017

English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur are willing to match the asking price of Gent for their Nigerian forward Moses Simon according to Voetbal24.

According to the website Tottenham are interested in the forward who has been rated in the bracket of €20m by Gent, and with the recent departure of Clinton Njie to Marseille, the Nigerian is viewed as a like for like replacement.

However a bid is yet to be launched by Tottenham according to sources close to the player. The only bid which was submitted for his services was by fellow English Premier League side Brighton.

The Premier League new boys had their bid rejected by Gent as it fell short of their valuation of the 22 year old who has been at the club for two and half seasons following his transfer from Slovakian side AS Trencin.

A fee of around €13m is said to be what Gent are hanging out for despite their public declaration that their prized assest won’t be sold for anything less than €20m.
