Ghana international midfielder Rabiu Mohammed has targeted finishing in a Uefa Champions League spot with Kuban Krasnodar in the Russian Premier League next season.

The 25-year-old midfielder will not be participating in any Uefa competition for the upcoming season as Kuban finished 10th on the league chart and also succumbed to defeat in the Russian Cup final against Lokomotiv Moscow.

Rabiu's stats with Kuban last season was somewhat a stop-start and erratic as he completed just nine (9) games in 17 starts in a total of 21 appearances.

The 2009 FIFA U20 World Cup gold medalist has fixed his sights firmly on securing Champions League qualification with Kuban for next season.

"Our target will be to play in the Champions League," he told Sportscrusader.com.

"I am sure we can make it if we do more than we did this last season."
