PSG to Make €100m Bid for Unsettled Real Madrid Star James Rodriguez

"?Paris Saint-Germain are set to offer Real Madrid €100 million to beat Arsenal and Manchester United to the signing of James Rodriguez, according to AS, as quoted by "?101 Great Goals.

The former Porto star has found himself frozen out this season and is pushing for a move away, according to reports.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is working to keep Rodriguez at the club but PSG have pounced on the precarious situation and offered €80 million with add ons that could rise to €100 million to land the Colombia international.

Rodriguez joined Real Madrid in a €75 million move from Monaco in 2014 following impressive displays in the World Cup that saw him win the tournament Golden Boot.

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has stood by his decision to bench Rodriguez.

"I don't see any problems with James -- he is an important player," Zidane said in April.

"James is important for us. He played well and scored a goal against Eibar and Getafe. He obviously wants to play more, but that's the same for every player who doesn't play all the time.

"Of course, we have 24 players and I can only pick 11. Sometimes it looks like I always have to make three changes in a game, but I will only do so if I think it is necessary.

"I am the coach and I have to make decisions."
