The plans to see players return to sharp ahead of the league resumption continue for top clubs in Europe as Villarreal on their official website announce a friendly match against Napoli at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona in Italy.
While Villarreal boost of Samuel Chukwueze, a young, pacy and tricky winger, the Serie A table topper Napoli, on the other hand have another Nigerian international Victor Osimhen, the league top scorer.
“Villarreal CF have confirmed a friendly match against SSC Napoli. Quique Setién’s team will face the Italian side on Saturday 17th December at 8:30pm CET at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.” Villarreal write on their website.
Both teams are currently in Turkey for camping, training and friendlies with Napoli playing Analyaspor and Crystal palace while the Yellow will play Fenerbahce and Galatasaray.
