Nigeria forward, Henry Onyekuru’s debut for Turkish outfit, Galatasaray ended on an unhappy note as the club went down to a 3-1 defeat to PSV Eindhoven in a pre-season friendly match at the Stade de Chailly, Montreux on Wednesday.
Onyekuru was introduced in the 66th minute in place of Jose Rodrigues and couldn’t help salvage the result in favour of his side.
The forward is on loan at Galatasaray from English Premier League club, Everton.
Steven Bergwjin, Malen Schiet and Cody Gakpo were all on target for PSV Eindhoven, while Martins Linnes got Galatasaray’s only goal of the game.
Fathi Terim’s men will face Valencia of Spain in their next pre-season friendly on Saturday.
