1996: Juventus world champion for the second time
On 26 November 1996 - in Tokyo - Juventus, coached by Marcello Lippi, won the Intercontinental Cup for the second time in its history. The Bianconeri won 1-0, in the final, against River Plate, with a decisive goal by Del Piero, 9' from the end.
