Olympics Camp: NFF consider Spain for Falcons

Nigeria Super Eagles will camp in Spain in preparation for the summer Olympics billed to take place in Paris this year following consideration of the country by the Nigeria Football Federation, Nigeriasoccernet.com has gathered.

According to Nigeriafootball.ng, the NFF will make known the venue for camping the girls and the European nation looks like that destination.

The Super Falcons made the cut for the Olympics after defeating South Africa in both legs of the qualifiers after being absent of the tournament for 16 years.

The report say the NFF has sent out invitation letters to players of the Super Falcons to train in Spain ahead of the competition to acclimatize to the weather conditions of France from 5 to 15 July.

Though the plan initially was to begin camping earlier from May 24 to June 4 in Nigeria or outside the country to aid do an open screening for his new additions ahead of the championship.

A grade friendly is in the offing and is to be played in July according to the report as the girls prepare for the big tournament to hold from 25 July to August 10.

The 9-time champions are drawn against reigning world champions Spain, Japan and South American champions Brazil in Group C and will Kick start their campaign against Brazil.
