Nasarawa United have declared two of its players, Ifeanyi Nweke and Philip Asango missing.

The club’s media officer, Musa Elayo, who disclosed this toSportingLife, said the players left the camp without the management’s consent.

Danladi said Nweke and Asango still have two years contract with the Solid Miners.

Kano Pillars had on Tuesday announced Nweke as one of its new signing while Asango is currently in Jos.

Elayo described the attitude of the players and the club that poached them as unprofessional.

“Nweke and Asango are still our players because they received their salaries up till date, except May salary which is ready for collection. In as much as we are not ready to join issues with anybody, the attitude of the players and the clubs that poached them are unprofessional,” Elayo said to SportingLife.

“We cannot force any player to play for us but they must follow due process. No club has approached us for their signing, so how can a club now claiming to have signed them. Their clearance is still with us and anybody doing business with them are doing so at their own risk.”
