Lekki United put a stop to the unbeaten streak of Sporting Lagos Football Academy in their match day encounter of the Nationwide League One season, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Lekki United defeated the young Tech Boys 0-1 at the Maracana Stadium, Ajegunle, Lagos on Saturday.
The goal came very early in the game courtesy of Olaotan Segbenu after a minute had been played. Segbenu beat his marker nicely and released to Michael Owoyele path who passed into an empty net.
The visitors of the day held on to the lead for the entire duration of the match to end Sporting Lagos's three-match unbeaten run.
It's now four wins out of four for Lekki United with back-to-back clean sheets as they keep top spot of the Maracana Log with 12 points, while Sporting Lagos Football Academy are third with 9 points.
