Paul Onuachu was among the goals for FC Midtjylland as they thrashed Liechtensteiner club FC Vaduz 3-0 in the Uefa Europa League on Thursday.

The Danish club ran riot in the second qualifying round game of the Uefa Europa League at the MCH Arena with Onuachu netting the second goal of the night in the 73rd minute.

The lanky Nigerian striker showed lightning reactions to sweep home from four yards after Vaclav Kadlec’s shot from the left was saved following a brilliant through-ball from Pione Sisto who scored FC Midtjylland’s two other goals on the night.

FC Midtjylland are now heavy favourites to progress to the next stage of the competition unless they capitulate in monumental fashion in the second leg at Rheinpark Stadion on July 21.

Onuachi has now scored twice in the Europa League for FC Midtjylland this season.
