Nigeria Youngster Kehinde joins Dubai Based Al-Fujairah

United Arab Emirate recently relegated Football club Al-Fujairah have completed the signing of 22 year old Nigerian forward Olanrewaju Kehinde as a replacement for fellow Nigerian striker Friday Eze who recently joined Al-Qadisiyah of Saudi Arabia on loan.

Last season Kehinde defended the colours of two different Israeli side, spending the first half of the season with Hapoel Kfar Saba before moving in January to Hapoel Acre.

In total he made 26 appearances for both teams with 5 goals to his name, four of which he scored for Hapoel Acre, a poor return of goals going by his tally the previous season.

Kehinde who until recently was owned by top Israeli side Maccabi Tel Aviv scored 20 goals to power his loan side Hapoel Afula to promotion in the 2014/2015 season but still wasn’t giving a first team chance by Maccabi Tel Aviv.

In the UAE he will be required help them come back to the top flight by filling the big boots of 23 year old Eze who finished top scorer for Al-Fujairah with 14 goals but couldn’t help them stay up in the first league before his loan move to Saudi Arabia.
