Nigeria International Christian Obodo Joins Top RomanianClub

Former Super Eagles midfielder Christian Obodo has left modest Romanian side Concordia Chiajna for CS Pandurii Targu Jiu that finished second in the league last season. The widely traveled former Udinese of Italy man has played in Portugal,Greece and Belarus before moving to Romania in January where he has now left a perennial struggling team to a team in the top half of the league in Romania.

Obodo took the Romanian league by storm after joining them in January from Greek side Xanthi on a free transfer scoring four goals in 17 games to help Concordia Chiajna beat the drop to the second division in Romania.

32 year old Obodo was snapped up by Pandurii Targu Jiu on a one year deal which will run out in the summer of 2017.
