The Nigeria Beach Soccer League have a new champion in Kada Beach Soccer Club after winning on Sunday at Birnin Kebbi.
The Kaduna based club secured a 7-5 win over Smart City BSC in their final match at the Super 4 competition.
Kada, after winning all three matches against Badagry Warrior, Kebbi Feeders and Smart City rose above all to win the Super 4 competition which decided the 2022 Nigeria Beach Soccer League title winner.
It means, Kada has dethroned 2021 champion and host Kebbi BSC to the title.
In the second encounter of the day, former champions, Kebbi BSC defeated Badagry Warriors BSC 7-4.
Prior to the match, Kebbi BSC were unbeaten against Badagry Warriors in the 2022 NBSL, scoring at least 3 goals in each of the 3 meetings.
The competition came to an end with the champions carting home with most of the awards.
The Highest Goal Scorer, Best Goalkeeper, and Most Valuable Player awards were all picked by Kada BSC.
