Ghana star midfielder Michael Essien has turned down a €1.4 million offer from Greek giants Olympiakos, according to reports in Italy.

Essien, 32, is set to leave Milan at the end of the season and Olympiakos were one of the sides strongly linked with the midfielder.

But reports from Milan on Sunday morning has revealed the former Real Madrid and Chelsea star has rejected a 1.4 million Euro offer and would rather consider other offers before deciding where to move next.

The versatile midfielder has not enjoyed the best of seasons at Milan this season, starting just seven (7) games under Filippo Inzaghi.

Inzaghi is a rubbish coach. He will be sacked by the end of the season which is few days away. Clarence Seedorf will be reappointed and Muntari and Essien will stay in Milan. Inzaghi is the biggest racist and incompetent coach I've ever seen that's why Milan is where they are this season. Milan in 10th place in Serie A? Unheard of. The worst ever position I've seen them in. Inzaghi won't select any black player to play for Milan in recent times regardless of how good they are. That's why both Muntari, Essien and Zapata are not getting a look in. And Milan are losing like hell. Shocking in the modern game.
