Mauritius will hold their first training session at the Presbyterian Boys School Park on Thursday ahead of their 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Ghana on Sunday.

Club M arrived in the West African country on Wednesday night ahead of Sunday's showdown at the Accra sports stadium.

The team is led by former Togo assistant coach Alain Happe and his two assistants Akbar Patel and Desire l’Enclume.

The Islanders are based at the M Plaza Hotel which is a twenty-minute drive from the Accra Sports Stadium.

Mauritius played in the 2015 COSAFA Cup tournament where they lost twice to Zimbabwe and Namibia to prepare for the qualifiers.

They won one match (1-0 against Seychelles) but got eliminated from the Group.

As a result, head coach Didier Six lost his job.
