Lobi Stars halt Doma United's fine run as Rangers International return to winning ways

Lobi Stars have closed ranks with table toppers, Remo Stars after their win over Doma United in the Nigeria Premier Football League match day 14 encounter while Rangers International returned to winning ways after their win over Sporting Lagos, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Lobi Stars ended an 8-uneabten streak of Doma United after a 2-1 win at the Lafia City Stadium.

Stanley Oganbor opened the score in the  4th minute to give Lobi Stars the lead in the first 45.

Suleiman Mojereoma doubled the lead in the 79the minute before Samuel Enefiok reduced the deficit in the 95th minute but it only proved a consolation.

With the win, the Shoe Get Size side are now on same points (26) with first placed Remo Stars who fell to their consecutive defeat in a 2-1 loss to Kano Pillars in Kano.

Ibrahim Mustapha Yuga put the Sai Masu Gida side ahead in the 50th minute of the game, but Dayo Ojo levelled matters 12 minutes later.

However, club legend Rabiu Ali's  79th minute strike sealed maximum points for the host.

Fidelis Ilechukwu's Rangers International of Enugu finally got a win after a winless run for 5 match days with a goal in each half to get a 2-0 win over Lagos State side, Sporting Lagos.

Austin Onyemaechi opened score in the 10th minute and substitute Kenechukwu Agu scored a penalty a minute before regulation time to seal the win.
