Ghanaian winger Lloyd Sam has expressed satisfaction at New York Red Bulls' 0-0 stalemate at FC Dallas in the American Major League Soccer on Saturday morning.

The former Leeds United and Charlton Athletic winger, 30, lasted 79 minutes at the Toyota Stadium as Red Bulls still remain with just a win from their last five games.

But despite the stalemate, Sam feels cool with the outcome of the game.

"We'll take the point, it's a hard fought draw," he said in the post-match interview.

Sam was born to Ghanaian parents in the United Kingdom and has expressed willingness to play for Ghana.

He has netted three (3) times and provided three (3) assists in ten games for NY Red Bulls this season.
