On Thursday, OM supporters met at the Orange Velodrome to pay their final tribute to Bernard Tapie. 3,500 people gathered at the bottom of La Tribune Jean Bouin.

Many songs, to the glory of 1993 (victory in the Champions League) and to the Boss resounded. Some OM players, crossed, were present (Pape Gueye, Valentin Rongier, Steve Mandanda, Pol Lirola), but also leaders (Jacques Cardoze, Pablo Longoria).

At 5.45pm, part of the 1993 final against AC Milan was broadcast, until the goal. The Marseille enclosure made itself heard. It was immediately after that that Bernard Tapie's coffin made its way onto the pitch, carried by supporters of the fan groups under the famous Van Halen track, "Jump". Then a long, very moving text, written by the groups, was read in cathedral silence. Precisely, it is at the big one that will take place this Friday before his burial in Mazargues. While waiting to see what will happen against Lorient, on October 17th.
