Eduardo Camavinga is set to leave Rennes before the transfer window closes, according to reports in France. The 18-year-old has entered the final year of his contract with Rennes and has failed to reach an agreement over a new deal with the French club.

Manchester United have expressed an interest in signing Camavinga this summer and made an approach to the midfielder’s agent, Jonathan Barnett, about a possible deal this summer.

Chelsea are also understood to have been monitoring Camavinga’s situation and Petr Cech could use his strong relationship with Rennes to his advantage.

Paris Saint-Germain are also in the race for Camavinga having tracked his sharp rise in Ligue 1. Real Madrid remain in the running even after Zinedine Zidane’s exit as the French World Cup winner was a huge admirer of Camavinga.

According to Ouest-France, Camavinga has made Rennes’ supporters aware that he has already played his final game for the club.
