Asante Kotoko have announced a 28-man squad for the 2014/15 First Capital Plus Premier League and their jersey numbers.
The team has four goalkeepers, nine defenders, nine midfielders and five strikers.
The two players who cannot be fielded are Larbi Coomson and Burkinabe, Sedogo Halipha.
Coomson sustained a knee injury that is likely to see him out of the season for some time.
In the case of midfielder Halipha, management are waiting for some documents to complete his registration before the second transfer window closes on January 31, 2015.
Twelve (12) of the players in the team now are new whereas 16 were retained from last season.
The new players are goalie Ofori Antwi; defenders – Atta Kusi, Emmanuel Asante and Akwasi Acheampong.
The midfielders are Richard Oti, Jackson Owusu and Sedogo Halipha.
The attacking department has the biggest share of the new recruits. ‘
They are Frank Sarfo Gyamfi, Obed Owusu, Dauda Mohammed, Abedel Latif Amadu and Ivorian, Amed Toure.
