Zlatan Recommends 'New Ibrahimovic' to 2 Former Clubs But Not Manchester United

Published on: 10 October 2016

"?Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has reportedly recommended Swedish prodigy Alexander Isak to two of his former clubs, but possibly not his current employers at Old Trafford.

Isak, born in 1999, has already been described by many the 'new Ibrahimovic' and it is thought that the man himself is actually a fan of the AIK Solna teenager.

According to Turin-based Tuttosport, Ibrahimovic has used agent Mino Raiola to recommend Isak to Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain, two of the sides he has formerly played for in his illustrious career.

Yet despite recent rumours of interest from United, as well as Premier League rivals Liverpool, the Italian publication makes no mention of Ibrahimovic's current club. Zlatan famously holds Milan in very high regard, but there is no mention of the Rossoneri either.

The story in the English media is being billed as a slight on United, but there really could be any number of reasons.

Perhaps Ibrahimovic is already aware of United's interest and doesn't need to drive it home, or just that he doesn't need to contact them through Raiola because he's there himself.

Alternatively, perhaps the Italian source only has information pertaining to Juve and fellow European giant PSG to whom Raiola also has close links, or perhaps the superstar Swede thinks that Isak would be better suited developing in Italy or France than England.
