"?Manchester United forward Anthony Martial says that "?he would welcome the signing of fellow striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, according to "?Sky Sports.
Ibrahimovic will be preparing to captain Sweden for the upcoming European Championships in Martial's native France, but has remained coy over his future in recent weeks after leaving Paris Saint-Germain at the end of last season.
The former Ajax, Barcelona and AC Milan player has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford this summer, in order to join up with his former boss at Inter Milan, Jose Mourinho.
Martial, who is also preparing for the Euros with the French squad, says that he would welcome the competition for places should Zlatan make the move to Manchester.
"Zlatan is a good player and a great striker - he would improve us with his experience," said Martial, who also hailed the arrival of new manager Mourinho at a French press conference on Friday.
"Mourinho is a great coach, one of the best in the world."
The Frenchman was speaking at a press conference before the national team's final warm-up match against Scotland in Malta, and despite admitting that he wasn't at full fitness, it is expected that Martial will play some part in the game.
"It's a little difficult as we've had two training sessions a day," Martial said.
"I talked about this with the coach and we've tried to ease my training sessions. Now I feel much better."
France go into the European Championships on home soil as one of the favourites to win the tournament, and begin their campaign next Friday against Romania.
