"?Yaya Toure is willing to turn down a highly lucrative move to China to fight for his place at Manchester City under incoming manager Pep Guardiola, the "?Manchester Evening News reports,

Toure has rejected two offers to play in the Chinese Super League, offers which would have made the Ivorian international the highest paid player in the world.

It has also been reported that the 33-year-old will turn down a move to Inter Milan, despite the prospect of being reunited with former boss Roberto Mancini. Inter have been interested in Toure for some time now, but sources close to the player say that the Italian giants would be wasting their time in making a formal offer given the veteran's desire to work with Guardiola once again.

Toure has played under Guardiola before at Barcelona and was part of the Catalan team that won the Champions League in 2009. The Spaniard sold him to Manchester City the following year for a fee of £24m, but sources report that there are no hard feelings between the two.

Toure spent three years at the Camp Nou after joining from Greek side Olympiakos in 2007. He would go on to make 66 appearances for the Spanish side, scoring eight goals.

The Ivorian has a year remaining on his current contract at the Etihad, which he is prepared to let run down, and even if he does leave the club in the summer, the player has stated that he has no desire to leave the Premier League.

Toure is highly regarded by the Manchester City Hierarchy, having made 188 appearances for the club and scoring 54 goals in all competitions for the Citizens, helping them to their first Premier League title in 2012.
