"?Barcelona legend Xavi has backed Pep Guardiola to revolutionize the Premier League when he moves to Manchester City this summer.
Guardiola helped Bayern Munich secure a domestic double to bring a close to his three year spell in charge at the Allianz Arena and his next journey, the Premier League, awaits.
The Spaniard has proven to be a serial winner, having hauled in 21 major honours since he was first appointed Barcelona manager in 2008 and Xavi, who played under him then, is certain he can continue to improve in England.
"It is a big opportunity for him at Manchester City," the Al Sadd midfielder said according to "?Goal. "I think he will change the face of English football.
"If there is anyone capable of changing that mentality, it is Guardiola. It is a great opportunity but there will also be a lot of pressure, because everyone always expects a lot from Pep Guardiola.
"But he is without doubt one of the best coaches in the world at the moment."
Guardiola has already gotten started on his work at Manchester City in terms of transfers.
The Citizens are believed to be close to announcing an agreement with Borussia Dortmund over the transfer of German midfielder Ilkay Gundogan.
