Wojciech Szczesny Claims He Learned More in 4 Months at Roma Than in 10 Years at Arsenal

"?Wojciech Szczesny believes the past four months have taught him more than nearly ten years he spent at Arsenal.

The Poland international spent the 2015/16 season on loan at Roma where he kept 8 clean sheets in 34 Serie A appearances with some mixed performances along the way that have left his future in the air.

The 26-year-old was forced to leave the Emirates following Petr Cech's arrival and David Ospina's fine form toward the end of the 2014/15 season but he says he values the experience.

"I learned more in four months with Spalletti than in 10 years in England," he said.

With Cech and Ospina still at Arsenal, the future is uncertain for Szczesny but, with two years remaining on his Arsenal contract and Roma maintaining the option to make his loan a permanent move, he says he already knows where his future lies.

"I know where I will play in the next season but I won't say it," he said.

"If I stay in Rome I will grow more, if I will return to Arsenal I will make good use of this experience.

"Arsenal have paid most of my salary, and I have another 2 years on my contract with them."
