The 17-year-old has been at the centre of widespread transfer this week speculation after Sky Sports initially reported that he had turned down a new contract.

And now "?The Sun have reported that Oxford is demanding a £1m signing on fee as well as a £40,000-per-week contract, with both Manchester clubs interested in the youngster.

Oxford became an overnight hero in East London after a sublime performance in West Ham's opening day win over Arsenal at the Emirates in August.
He became West Ham's youngest player to start a Premier League fixture at just 16-years-old and his ability to confidently deal with Arsenal's Mesut Ozil saw a number of supporters claiming that Oxford would be a future England star.
Since being handed his debut by Slaven Bilic on the opening day of the season, Oxford has managed only seven appearances in all competition for the Hammers.
