"?West Bromwich Albion have confirmed that Stephane Sessegnon and Victor Anichebe are to leave after the club decided against extending their contracts.
The attacking pair's current deals expire in June, and the Baggies have decided against taking up the option to offer either player a new contract.
Forward Sessegnon joined West Brom from Sunderland for a then-club record transfer fee of £5.5m, but the Benin international failed to show his best form at the Hawthorns as he scored just eight goals in 92 appearances.
Anichebe, meanwhile, was signed from Everton for £6m in September 2013, but the 28-year-old failed to nail down a regular starting place and only found the back of the net on nine occasions in 63 appearances during his time in the Midlands.
The striker sent a thank you message to West Brom's supporters on Monday as he expressed his appreciation for their encouragement during his spell with the club.
Both players were not part of manager Tony Pulis' 18-man matchday squad for last Sunday's 1-1 draw with Liverpool on the final day of the 2015/16 season, but the pair were part of the lap of appreciation at the end of the match to pay their respects to the club's fans for their support during their time here.
And Pulis thanked 31-year-old Sessegnon and Nigeria international Anichebe for their time and effort for the West Brom cause over the past three seasons.
"The two lads worked really hard for me and were as good as gold," he told "?goal.com.
"Everybody at the club wishes them all the best in their future careers."
