"?West Bromwich Albion defender Gareth McAuley is considering his international future with Northern Ireland.
The 36-year-old helped the Green and White Army to their first ever European Championships and is a fan favourite for both club and country with his consistent displays at the heart of defence.
But according to the Belfast Telegraph, McAuley will sit down with head coach Michael O'Neill after the tournament in France to discuss his future, with Friday's friendly at home to Belarus potentially his last appearance at Windsor Park.
The Baggies defender's main concern is thought to be his ability to see through another qualifying campaign with 2018 World Cup qualifiers beginning in September, meaning that Euro 2016 could be McAuley's swansong.
Speaking to the Belfast Telegraph ahead of Friday, McAuley said: "I'm actually really excited about the Belarus game.
"Every time you play at Windsor Park it is special whether it is your first time or your last one.
"In terms of whether it is my last, I have not made up my mind on that one yet. What I'll do is sit down and talk to Michael about things after France.
"I'll be focused on the tournament and then we can discuss the future."
The former Ipswich Town star has already signed a new one-year deal at the Hawthorns, but still remains coy over whether that means he'll continue to play for his country in the near future.
"Of course I want to play for Northern Ireland, but the thing is can I commit to two years for another qualifying campaign?
"I have it in my head that I am taking a season at a time. The last thing I would want to do is start something and then have to retire or leave it in the middle.
"That's a big thing I have to sit down and speak to Michael about. He has said to me that I look like I could play for another two years but we'll see."
Fellow defenders Aaron Hughes and Chris Baird and veteran goalkeeper Roy Carroll are also thought to be considering their futures for Northern Ireland.
