Watford Sign Striker Jerome Sinclair From Liverpool On 4-Year Deal

"?Watford have signed 19-year-old Jerome Sinclair from Liverpool, tying the teenager down to a a four-year deal.


"?Sky Sports reports that Sinclair's management company, Colossal Sports, made the announcement via their official Instagram page.

The Birmingham-born striker ends a four-year stint with the Reds, and will join up with his Hornets teammates on July 1st, having signed on a free transfer.


The forward made his Liverpool debut as a 16-year-old back in 2012, coming off the bench during the second half of a Capital One Cup match against West Brom. He made five appearances for Liverpool last year, also playing one game whilst on loan at Wigan.


He made just one start this season, playing in an FA Cup match against Exeter.


According to reports, Sinclair rejected a new deal at Anfield and opted to join Watford instead.

The club also announced the "?signing of former Inter and Napoli manager Walter Mazzarri as head coach on Saturday.


"Walter has been the target of a number of approaches for his services, so we're delighted to secure him as Head Coach here at Watford," said Watford CEO Scott Duxbury.


"We're thoroughly looking forward to working with such a highly-regarded coach, with the progress and development of the club always remaining the highest priority."
