"?Francesco Totti's importance to Roma's fortunes has not diminished as he has got older, as his superb assist in the Europa League demonstrates.
The 40-year-old talisman is still performing at the highest level of the game. He has bagged two Serie A goals so far this season, and provided the assist for Alessandro Florenzi's goal in the Europa League tie against Austria Wien.
Using the outside of his right foot, he delightfully curled the ball round the Austria Wien back line and into the path of his teammate Florenzi, who capped the pass with the appropriate finish.

In what was his 100th appearance in Europe, Totti showed that you do not need lightning pace nor youthful legs to have an important effect on a football match.
He showed his vision and presence of mind, which is still up there with the best, to pick out Florenzi on the far post
The match was a surprisingly tight affair, with two late goals from Austria Wien cancelling out earlier strikes from Stephan El Shawaary, who netted twice, and Florenzi. The game ended 3-3, leaving Roma top of the group and level on points with the Austrian side.
Regardless of the result, Totti once again showed that his undoubted quality is still present at the ripe old age of 40.
