Tottenham Ready to Compete With Rivals Chelsea and Arsenal for Galatasaray Winger Bruma

"?Tottenham Hotspur have joined London rivals Chelsea and Arsenal in the race for £21m-rated Galatasaray winger Bruma.

That is according to Emre Sargiul of Turkish Football, who reports that Spurs were one of four Premier League sides to send scouts to observe the player at Galatasaray's match against Kayserispor last week. Chelsea, Arsenal and West Ham were said to have representatives in viewing as well.

Bruma has started the season quite impressively, scoring once and assisting two goals in three games for the Turkish club. He also received the Man of the Match award for displays against against Akhisar and Kayserispor.

The 21-year-old has pace to burn, and an eye for goal, as well as wicked dribbling technique. His attributes make him well-suited to the Premier League, and he would certainly prove a huge threat going forward if any of the aforementioned clubs were to secure his signature.

Spurs seem like the team most in need of a winger at the moment. Mauricio Pochettino is fond of the 4-2-3-1 formation, and only has one true winger in the side. Erik Lamela and Christian Eriksen have both been used on the flanks, but are stronger as central attackers.

Son Heung-min, who has been in top form since getting into the team this season, is the only genuine wide man at his disposal at the moment.

Bringing Bruma to White Hart Lane could solve a lot of problems for the Argentinean manager. The Portugal U21 international's pace and ability on the ball, added to his strength, would definitely boost Spurs title chances if they sign him and he keeps up form.
