Tottenham Hotspur have become the latest club to register interest in Palermo's talented attacking midfielder Franco Vazquez, according to "?The Mirror.
The 27-year-old joined the Serie A club back in 2012 and has established himself as one of the hottest properties in Italian football after a stellar campaign during which he struck eight goals and added seven assists.
The player recently confirmed his desire to leave Palermo, saying "a cycle has finished, I can't give Palermo any more than what I've given."

"These were three great years, now I need a change of scenery and to have new motivations, new objectives, to fight for more important things.
"The most beautiful thing was to say goodbye in the best way, achieving what we'd promised with the whole group, and this makes me happy. I'd prefer to continue in Serie A, because I know the league well, but I'll evaluate all offers and then decide which is the best for me," he added.
Vazquez is thought to prefer staying in Italy, but he is on record previously saying he will not move to AC Milan or Napoli.
"I don't know about Milan and Napoli tracking me,"? he told Sportitalia. "Now it is something that I don't care about as all I can focus on is Palermo and trying to secure survival.
