Lille full-back Djibril Sidibe has admitted that he has been contacted by several clubs looking for his signature, along with Sunderland, "?the Shield Gazette reports.
Sidibe is currently with the French national squad for the European Championships, a surprise inclusion on the stand-by list for the hosts.
Despite the upcoming competition, Sidibe has made comments on his uncertain future at Lille, with Sunderland, Monaco, PSG and Watford all thought to be interested in the right-back.
"Yes I have seen the speculation and my friends have been regularly sending me texts to tell me,"? Sidibe told the French press.
"I'm a bit overwhelmed by it all and I faced the same situation when I left Troyes. There has been contact, I don't deny that, but that's all.
"My agent handles that, but I'm not involved in any of the talks yet. I have a contract with Lille."?
Sunderland are thought to have been the first team to announce their interest in the Frenchman, who Lille are expected to cash-in on, after declaring their intentions last month, but reports in France now indicate that Monaco are also among the front-runners to secure the player.
It is expected that Lille would be looking for a fee in the region of £10m, however, it appears that it is a fee that Black Cats boss Sam Allardyce is willing to pay, given the departure of full-back DeAndre Yedlin back to Tottenham.
Allardyce also believes that Sidibe offers value for money, given that transfer fees are expected to skyrocket thanks to the Premier League's new television deal.
