"?Danijel Arnautovic, brother and agent of Stoke City star Marko Anautovic, has highlighted that although his brother has to be grateful towards Stoke City, he may be looking to play elsewhere in Europe next season.
Danijel has been negotiating on behalf of Marko for a while, with the Potters desperate to keep hold of their star player, but talks have stalled and faltered, according to the "?Stoke Sentinel.
Stoke : Brother Danijel says Marko Arnautovic is a proud Potter - but future hangs in balance https://t.co/U35Vbjrrqz via @SentinelStaffs
This essentially means that Arnautovic will be playing for Austria in the Euros with the added incentive of showcasing his abilities to any potential clubs, as well as for his nation.
The £12.5m release clause in his contract does make the giant winger a potential bargain. At Stoke, he's been able to shake off his bad-boy image with his game having matured since the days of Inter seven-years-ago.
Danijel had this to say about Marko's future, and stated: "Stoke City have led us to believe Marko would be there for next season. Stoke have done a lot for Marko and naturally he wants to give a lot back. He's been proud to be part of the club, but football is what it is. Let's get through the Euros positively and then we'll see."
Arnautovic was a regular starter under Mark Hughes last term, making 33 starts in the Premier League and amassing a credible 11 goals and seven assists. Since his arrival at the club, the player has added real quality to a reformed Stoke side.
Potters fans will be hoping that the Arnautovic brothers can come to an agreement with Stoke soon, before European vultures begin circling.
