"?New Bayern Munich signing Renato Sanches has insisted that he will feel "?no nerves ahead of his move to the Bundesliga giants.

Sanches signed for Bayern on a five-year deal worth a reported €35m from Portuguese champions Benfica, where he made 30 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring two goals.

The 18-year-old is currently with the Portugal squad for the European Championships in France, and said that he was eager to get started at the European powerhouse.

"I'm relaxed. I'm not really thinking about it in this moment," Sanches told a news conference.

"It is quite difficult to leave Portugal. It's the country where I have always lived. But it will be a major change in my life, a new experience. I am at ease. I'm not nervous, but I am anxious."

"I will learn German, because I signed a five-year contract, I will try to learn it as quickly as possible to get used to the country."

The wonderkid was speaking ahead of Portugal's next group F game against Austria. Portugal started their Euro 2016 campaign on Tuesday with a disappointing 1-1 draw with Iceland, and Sanches is eager to play against Austria on Saturday.

"Everything is going well and I'm very happy to be here. "I know there are other midfielders that are more experienced and have been more years playing in the national team than me but I'm well and ready to play."

Sanches played just one season in the Portuguese league, and already has six appearances for Portugal under his belt, and has just recently broken a record set by Cristiano Ronaldo, becoming the youngest Portugal player ever to play at an international tournament.
