"?Sion midfielder Edimilson Fernandes is reportedly set to travel to London this Wednesday to undergo a medical with West Ham United to complete his £5.5m deal, the Guardian reports.

The 20-year-old, who is the cousin of former Manchester City midfielder Gelson Fernandes, broke into the Sion first-team fold three years ago at the age of 17 after rising through the youth ranks. He has made steady progress since then and made 26 appearances in the Swiss Super League last season and started in the Europa League matches against Liverpool.

It is understood the attacking midfielder will sign a four-year deal with the Hammers upon his medical completion, which will take Slaven Bilic's total signings this summer to eight players.

The former Croatia manager, though, is not yet finished in the transfer market. "?Manchester City outcast Wilfried Bony and Juventus striker Simone Zaza are both on Bilic's radar, with the Hammers boss revealing he would like to bring another forward in.

Bilic said: "Bony is a good player. He is an option because he plays in the position where, even before the injuries, we tried to sign a player "? he is a centre-forward. I don't negotiate. I'm just the manager. I just say to the chairmen and [chief scout] Tony Henry, we talk and then they do it."?

He added on Zaza: "I'm not going to tell you the details, but we have been linked with Zaza last year also, last summer,"? he said. "He's a top player and I like him. I was here last year so it tells you everything and we were in contact with him last year "? it didn't happen. We will see if it does this year in the next few days.

"We have a couple of players that we are going to try to do a deal for. But we are in the period that a lot of our players, especially the offensive players, are out injured."
