Manchester City star Sergio Aguero will reportedly spend the summer trying to convince Juventus prodigy Paulo Dybala to join him at the Etihad, according to the Express.
The 22-year-old Argentinian has been instrumental in Juventus securing the Italian domestic double in two consecutive seasons, with 23 goals in all competitions this season.
His form over the past few seasons has attracted a whole host of European giants with the likes of Real Madrid, Manchester United, and Chelsea all interested in securing the youngster's services.
But incoming Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is reportedly a keen admirer of the Juventus forward's talents and would have been impressed with his displays against his Bayern Munich side at the Champions League quarter-final stage.
Man City's chances of signing Dybala may be boosted by the fact his international team-mate, Sergio Aguero, is keen to link up with him on a much more regular basis in England.
The duo won't be linking up for this summer's Copa America for Argentina after Dybala was left out the final squad. But Aguero will still try and convince his compatriot of a potential Argentinian double act up front; with Dybala playing a supporting role behind Aguero.
But even if the Manchester City attacker manages to convince the 22-year-old, City will have to stump up a British transfer record fee to sign Dybala after Juventus put a £70m valuation on him.
Real Madrid are reportedly willing to pay the reported sum, having already submitted a bid, but it is understood City would be willing to match the fee in order to secure Dybala, who has been on record telling reporters of his "dream" of playing for City.
The Juventus forward said: "When I play on PlayStation I always choose Barcelona or City. I dream of one day playing for one of those clubs."?
