Liverpool star Roberto Firmino believes that manager Jurgen Klopp has helped him successfully adapt to the more 'technical' and 'faster' Premier League after his time in Bundesliga football, as reported by the Brazilian publication O Globo.
The 25-year-old Brazil international spent four successful years in Germany's top flight playing for Hoffenheim and scored 32 goals in all competitions for the German club in his last two seasons at the club.
His starring performances in the Bundesliga led to his £35m transfer to Anfield in the summer of 2015 and after a short, difficult spell with former boss Brendan Rodgers, the Brazilian began to sparkle under Jurgen Klopp.
The former Figueirense star has credited the German in helping him to adapt to English football and believes that Premier League football is a step up from what he was used to with Hoffenheim in Germany.
"English football is a little faster and the technical level is higher than in Germany, but a big factor is that there are games more often," Firmino said.
"Of course, in a change of team and country, there is always a process of adaptation.
"Fortunately, the opportunity to work with Jurgen Klopp was a great help in my adaptation to Liverpool.
"He is a coach who knows the squad very well, the league, and [he] studies opponents before each game.
"He is a friend of everyone around him, works with great respect and has the affection of all wherever he goes.
"He is a football scholar [who] examines each match in every detail."?
