"?Bayern Munich fans were given yet another very promising glimpse of new signing Renato Sanches on Tuesday night when the 18-year-old appeared as a substitute for Portugal in their Euro 2016 Group F opener against Iceland.
Sanches, already recognised as one of Europe's top teenagers, replaced Joao Moutinho in the 71st minute in Saint-Etienne as Portugal coach Fernando Santos looked for a fresh boost to turn up the pressure on Iceland.
As a whole, Portugal overwhelmed, unable to get the better of the tournament newcomers, but Sanches gave Bayern fans plenty to get excited about ahead of his formal arrival in Bavaria next month after completing a move from Benfica.
The youngster was strong and confident on the ball, was always looking to receive it and certainly wasn't overawed by the occasion of playing his first game in a senior international tournament.

Sanches even broke a Portuguese national record when he stepped onto the pitch as the youngest player ever to play in a major competition for the Selecção.
The record previously belonged to a certain Cristiano Ronaldo when he took to the field against Greece in the opening game of Euro 2004 at the age of 19 years and 128 days. On Tuesday, Sanches lowered it by a good few months to 18 years and 301 days.
Sanches is also the second youngest player at the whole tournament in France, with only England's Marcus Rashford born more recently than the Portugal man.
