Newly appointed Coach of Atalanta BC, Raffaele Palladino, has revealed that Nigerian striker Ademola Lookman is important to the team, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Palladinho addressed the press following his unveiling, stating how crucial Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman is to Atalanta BC.
The former Florentina Coach, while speaking about the key players in the Bergamo side, revealed he has spoken with the former African footballer of the year.
He stated that the Super Eagles striker, who has struggled for form after a bitter transfer saga at the window, has acted well and will be evaluated.
"Lookman is crucial, I called him, as well as all the others who were on the national team. He presented himself very well. I'll evaluate his deployment based on the training he does."
Raffaele Palladino was appointed Coach of Atalanta BC last week following the sack of Ivan Juric after three months with the club.
Palladinho joins on a two-year contract that expires on June 30, 2027.
