Potential Swansea Boss Bob Bradley Reveals Which Top Premier League Manager He Feels He Compares to

Published on: 27 September 2016

Bob Bradley, Swansea City's reported managerial target to replace the under-pressure Francesco Guidolin, claims he is as astute and skilled as Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.

Guidolin's position at the Liberty Stadium has come under intense scrutiny in recent weeks after a poor run of form and reports of a breakdown in relationship between the manager and his players - now fresh reports have claimed Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins has already met Bradley over succeeding the Italian.

And, if Bradley were to be entrusted as the man to propel the Welsh club back up the Premier League table, he for one would not lack confidence in himself doing just that.

There's a new name in the Swansea frame...

Bradley, currently in charge of French club Le Havre, told Sirius XM during an interview four months ago: "When I have the chance to observe different managers, the ones that do good work, I mention Mauricio Pochettino, Jurgen Klopp and Thomas Tuchel who took over from Klopp at Dortmund. I will tell you what, maybe I'm stupid, but I think I'm a manager in and around that level.

"We haven't even talked about the Guardiolas and Ancelottis.

"I'm not saying I'm better than these guys, I haven't had those types of opportunities. But I think people that have played for me have always felt that the experience in the team was different.

"I believe in my work but I don't go around every day complaining. I roll up my sleeves and try to show people what I'm about and see what happens."

Bradley, 58, was in charge of the US national team for five years between 2006-2011 and oversaw their qualification to the World Cup in 2010. He also managed the Egypt national team and steered Norwegian side Stabaek to the Europa League. Former Manchester United winger Ryan Giggs is also reported to be in the running for the Swansea job.
