Pinnick Faulted For Breaching Protocol

Published on: 10 January 2017

A former Spokesman of the Nigeria Football Federation, Austin Mgbolu has criticized the President of the FA, Amaju Pinnick for breaching protocol in his bid to vie for a CAF Executive Committee seat.

The process which saw Pinnick emerge as the sole candidate has been severally faulted by stakeholders from within the football body itself, and, recently Minister of Sport, Solomon Dalung called for an inquiry to ascertain any wrongdoing.

In a chat with our sports team Mgbolu stressed that the actions of Mr. Pinnick were capable of further fracturing the fragile peace in the FA.

He also called for government’s intervention, to ensure every apparatus capable of assisting a Nigerian to emerge in the CAF Executive committee be given due consideration.
