Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's Former Strike Partner Advises Player to Join One of These 2 Teams

The former international strike partner of Borussia Dortmund star Pierre-Emerick "?Aubameyang believes the in-demand striker wants to move to the Premier League this summer.

Speaking to the "?BBC, Daniel Cousin, who used to partner Aubameyang for the Gabon national team, advised that he joins either Manchester United or Manchester City. He recommended that the 26-year-old makes the move to Manchester to work with either Jose Mourinho or Pep Guardiola - who will take charge of the two clubs next season.

He said when speaking on the player's future: "I think he wants to move to England. It's a different style to Germany, it's more physical, but for me, it is a good moment for Pierre to go to a big club like Manchester United or Manchester City.

"I think he can score more goals and get more experience with the big teams. Now, Mourinho is at Manchester United and Guardiola at Manchester City: These are the kind of coaches can help him develop."

Cousin, however, stated that he would prefer Aubameyang - who has also been linked with Real Madrid and Liverpool - to end up at Arsenal.

He added: "(I'd like to see him join) Arsenal. The team plays very well and needs a striker to win the title next season. And I think if he plays with (Mesut) Ozil, he'll be given lots of assists. I think he may very well with this team."

However, when asked about Aubameyang's potential departure from Dortmund recently, CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke told Bild that the story was "b******t."

Aubameyand scored 25 goals in 31 Bundesliga appearances for Dortmund last season.
